Common Questions
-
Appointments range in length from 30 minutes to 2 hours depending on the need and eye condition of the patient.
-
Patients need to bring their ID, Medical Aid membership card (if applicable), as well as their current spectacles.
-
Low Vision Appointments would need a referral from an Ophthalmologist before confirmation of an appointment can be made. Low Vision appointment times are case-specific.
-
For contact lens re-examinations (every 6 months for disposable lenses and yearly for RGP/Scleral lenses), the lenses must be worn by the patient. Your current spectacles also need to be with you, together with your contact lens carrying case.
